You receive two quotes: one with a large one-time setup fee, the other a lower monthly retainer. Which is cheaper? It depends on what each actually includes, not the number at the top.
What setup usually covers
Work done once that stays yours: a website, an identity, ad account setup or a system build. The key question: what exactly will I receive, what are the acceptance criteria and how many revision rounds are included?
What a retainer covers
Ongoing work: campaign management, monthly content, or running and hosting a system. The question here: what exactly happens each month, how many hours or deliverables, and when can I stop?
Five questions before you sign
- Ownership: whose name will the accounts, domain, hosting and code be in?
- Ads: is the ad budget included, or paid to the platform directly?
- Exclusions: what does the quote explicitly not include?
- Measurement: how will you measure success, and when do we review?
- Exit: what happens if I stop? What do I keep?
A good quote tells you clearly what it excludes before it tells you what it includes.
How we write quotes at ADMIT
We always separate setup from operation, state what each programme includes and excludes, and keep accounts in the client’s name from day one. You can review all our programmes and published prices on the programmes page.
